Peace, tranquillity and stunning views are what make The Nare Hotel such a find. The hotel is superbly positioned overlooking the fine sandy beach of Gerrans Bay, facing south and sheltered by the Nare and St Mawes headlands.

All bedrooms are individually decorated in a traditional and comfortable country house style. Many rooms have balconies or terraces that make the most of the magnificent sea views. Take advantage of our extensive facilities, indoor and out door swimming pool, outdoor hot tub, steam room, sauna or our gymnasium which gives you enough equipment to raise your pulse as often as you need. If you prefer to exercise in the open air the tennis court is always open, you only have to walk to the end of the garden to find the coastal path. In the evenings guests have the luxury of choosing to dine either in the Dining Room or in The Quarterdeck restaurant. The Dining Room offers a traditional table d'hote, which changes every evening. The Quarterdeck is a more relaxed a la carte menu. Both restaurants are open to non-residents, booking is recommended, and we do request that gentlemen wear a jacket and tie in the main Dining Room. Sunday lunch is popular at the Nare, a traditional lunch is served in the main Dining room from the carving trolley. The Quarterdeck restaurant is open all day serving morning coffee, light lunches, afternoon tea and relaxed evening dining. The informal atmosphere of The Quarterdeck makes it a good place to meet up with friends and family at any time of the day.
