Where to Eat of the Week : The Watch House

14 August 2017

Harbourside dining in St Mawes is on the menu this week.

The Watch House is a Friendly harbour-side restaurant in St Mawes putting together seasonal menus and daily specials using fresh local ingredients.

Chef and owner Will Gould serves breakfast, lunch, cream tea and dinner. Or if you’re planning a trip on a Sunday why not try the famous Watch House Roast Lunch.

The comfortable and cosy ground floor is ideal for a bite to eat after a walk on the beach (dogs welcome) and the light and open upstairs is a great spot for the views across St Mawes Harbour and out to sea.

Top tip:
Make a day of it and head oput on one of St Mawes’ breathtaking walks, The Watch Out take-away service is perfect for a quick bite to eat on the go. With sustainably sourced fresh, local fish and chips, as well as coffee, teas and ice cream you have plenty of options to keep you going throughout the day.
