Moon Jellyfish (Aurelia aurita)
- Colourless with a violet/ blue tinge
- Saucer shaped bell
- Lots of small tentacles
- Found around the British coast and sometimes seen in estuaries
- Feed on planktonic species such as molluscs and crustaceans
- They are eaten by Sunfish and Leatherback Turtles

Compass Jellyfish (Chrysaora hysoscella)
- It has 16 brown 'V' marked shapes radiating outwards from a dark central spot on the top of the bell
- Can be a variety of brown or orange colours
- Up to 30cm in diameter
- Found around the British coast but most common around the south and west
