We thought we'd make this handy page with common frequently asked questions, so you can make your day out on the Fal as fun as possible.


Q: Do I have to use it on consecutive days?

A: Yes, because of the way the card works and the significant discount it gives.


Q: Can I collect my card in advanced?

A: Yes, you can collect your card from one of our ticket offices up to 48 hours before you want to first use it to travel. You need to 'activate' it before you first travel, this can be done quickly at any of our ticket offices.


Q: How many can travel on a family card?

A: Maximum of 5 people: Up to 2 adults and 3 children (4-16yrs).


Q: Where is the best place to keep my card?

A: In the plastic wallet and the lanyard you get when you collect the card. You must keep the paper and plastic parts of the card together.


Q: Is the visitor card available all year round?

A: No, we are afraid not, only from March through to November each year (please note, this varies season to season).


Q: What if I lose my card?

A: Unfortunately, we are unable to reaplce lost or stolen cards.


Q: What will be printed on my card?

A: We will print the following on your card to validate it: Your name, date of validaton, unique barcode and card type. You may be asked to show accompanying ID at anytime.


Q: What happens when I buy my card online?

A: First of all, you will save 10%. You will then receive an email, PDF ticket and unique booking code. You then have 9 months to take any of these to a ticket office to collect your ticket.


Q: What do I do with my card when I finish?

A: You can keep your card, but we would really appreciate if if you can leave your lanyard and clear pocket on board a ferry or at one of our ticket offices.
