The Cornwall Hotel, Spa & Estate Receives Royal Reception
The Cornwall Hotel Spa & Estate was officially opened by HRH, The Countess of Wessex on Monday 8th March.
On 8th March 2010, Her Royal Highness The Countess of Wessex GCVO attended The Cornwall Hotel Spa & Estate to perform the official opening ceremony. After being introduced to the owners and directors of CMR Leisure, the Countess, accompanied by the Lord Lieutenant of Cornwall, Lady Mary Holborow, was given a conducted tour of the Hotel and it's facilities, meeting with, and talking to, many of the Hotel's staff en-route. The Countess unveiled the St. Piran flag to reveal the commerative plaque. Throughout the visit The Countess showed a keen awareness and understanding of the challenges involved in planning and launching a hotel such as The Cornwall. It was a glorious sunny day and a memorable start for The Cornwall Hotel Spa & Estate.
