A new boat with added comfort means bigger and better things in store for Fish And Trips of St Mawes.
Passengers are in for a treat of trip on the Madeline Rose, the new boat at Fish and Trips of St Mawes.
Following last year’s busy season, James Brown, who runs Fish and Trips of St Mawes, has bought a bigger, more comfortable boat.
James, a former commercial fisherman, has been taking mackerel trips, sightseeing and charters out of the village harbour for four years.
His new 26ft Seamart, named Madeline Rose, can carry up to nine passengers for two or three hour mackerel trips, and is MCA coded to go up to 20 miles out to sea for longer trips with a maximum of seven passengers. All equipment and lifejackets are provided on the boat.
As well as skippering his own boat, James is also hiring out self-drive boats this season.
Visitors to the Roseland can choose between three, well-maintained 17ft bass boats, which can carry up to a maximum of 6 persons each.
The two motor boats and one sail boat can be hired for anything from half a day to a fortnight, and will be dropped off and collected from St Mawes Harbour.
