The Lost Gardens of Heligan will be hosting an Easter Eggs-travaganza on Sunday 12th April, when the revival of some traditional Easter past-times are set to get everybody eggs-ited!
Once found, visitors can take their eggs to the Covered Area where staff will be waiting to assist with the traditional Easter art of Egg Decorating; you may also find a small chocolate treat too!
All decorated eggs can then make their way to the final egg event of the day in the Sundial Garden. Here, at 3.30pm visitors can test the strength of their eggs with some traditional Easter fun in the form of an ‘Egg Rolling Competition'! An Easter basket of goodies awaits the winner whose egg rolls the furthest and remains the most intact.
The Heligan Tearoom will be serving delicious flavours from the gardens and estate in the last traditional Heligan Roast of the season. Whilst more Easter treats will be arriving fresh from the Heligan Bakery with traditional Simnel cake and tasty hot cross buns on the menu.
Egg Hunt, Egg Decoration and entry into the Egg Rolling Competition are all included in the standard garden admission charges.
