The National Maritime Museum Cornwall has announced a new "Fair for All" pricing structure which will see the all-weather attraction slashing the price of a child ticket to just £5 for an entire year.
The Maritime Museum, which was the Telegraph Family Friendly Museum in 2015, has completely overhauled its ticketing so that now there are just three options: Adults £12.50, children under 18 £5 and children under five free.
And when you pay once to visit the Falmouth based Museum you can return as many times as you like for a whole year.
Maritime Museum Director, Richard Doughty says: "We have listened to feedback from our visitors and have simplified our pricing structure. We are rightly proud of our reputation for family friendliness and still very much committed to making our collections accessible to as wide an audience as possible. This is why, as well as reducing our child ticket by £3.50, we are continuing with our pay once and get in free for a year offer which represents exceptional value for money, especially for local visitors.
The Museum has seen record breaking visitor numbers in the past year, with 150,000 people enjoying our Viking Voyagers exhibition and it is hoped that this new approach will enable even more people to enjoy all that we have to offer."
