Maritime Museum Delves deeper into the story of the titanic

Following the hugely successful launch of their new Titanic Honour and Glory exhibition the National Maritime Museum Cornwall is offering you the chance to discover more about the Titanic, with a revealing lecture on the 18 March.

Join Sean Szmalc, the owner of the Titanic Honour and Glory touring exhibition, will explore the history of the White Star line. Learn more about the mechanics and machinery of the Olympic, Titanic and Britannic and immerse yourself in the artefacts and personal stories featured in this massively successful touring exhibition.

Sean Szmalc says: "This illustrated talk not only delves deeper into the history of this famous ship and the White Star Line, but also gives an insight into some of the lesser known stories of passengers and crew, such as the moving love story that was the inspiration behind James Cameron's blockbuster movie Titanic."

Tickets for the Honour and Glory of the Titanic, which takes place on 18 March, are available from the Maritime Museum at £7 for lecture only and £16 to include two-course buffet. Doors and bar open from 6pm. To book your seats please call 01326 214546.
