As Rosevine wins acclaim in National Coast awards.
The Rosevine was declared runner up In the Best Boutique Hotel by the Sea category. In a fantastic boost for Cornish hospitality, the top award was won by Cornish hotel The Scarlet.
The annual Coast Awards celebrate the people and places that represent all that is innovative, valuable and exciting around the British coastline. This year’s ten categories also Include Best British Beach’ and ‘Best Seaside Holiday Destination’ as well as the Joules Award for Best Coastal Path.
Owner Hazel Brocklebank said: "We are absolutely thrilled. It's fantastic to receive such national acclaim. We are very proud of all the team here, thank you so much."
Coast Editor Clare Gogerty said: “The quality of this year’s nominations is proof that the visitor experience and lifestyle to be had by the British coast just keeps on getting better.”
The Rosevine, owned and run by Tim and Hazel Brocklebank, is now in its 3rd season. Tucked away on the Roseland peninsular, the white Georgian house by the sea combines the feel of a traditional country house with the convenience of modern stylish living. Tim and Hazel resist calling the Rosevine a hotel as it is made up of 12 separate apartments with elegant shared spaces. It is designed to appeal particularly to families with children, however small, who might want to self-cater, but there is also a first rate bistro on site which is currently participating in the Cornish Food Spring Feast Fortnight. There is an indoor pool and tropical gardens going down to the National Trust beach at Porthcurnick.
