The Maritime Museum is yummy for Mummies

Mums are in for a treat this Mothering Sunday at the National Maritime Museum Cornwall in Falmouth.

For one day only, on Sunday 22 March, Mums get free entry to the South West's visitor attraction of the year. All Mums accompanied by someone paying the full admission price can get into the Museum absolutely free!

And while you're there why not enjoy a delicious Mother's Day lunch with spectacular views in the Museum's Waterside Café.

Indulge in sweet potato and parsnip soup; homemade Thai style crab cakes; or grilled Cornish goat's cheese salad to start. Then enjoy a main course of either roasted topside of beef with homemade Yorkshire pudding; baked fillet of salmon topped with a herb crust; or mozzarella, cherry tomato & roasted pepper skewers. And to finish off there's a choice of vanilla crème brulee; warm sticky toffee pudding; or rich chocolate mousse.

Two courses from this set menu plus coffee are just £12.95, whilst three courses are only £15.95. And better still if you book in advance on 01326 214554 you can enjoy free entry to the Museum too.

As if that wasn't enough the Maritime Museum is also showing the magical fairytale Enchanted on their big screen. As part of the monthly Movie Magic activity days, kids can follow a fairytale trail and design an Enchanted mosaic and badge before watching this Disney classic. Ideal for your little knights in shining armour or fairy princesses it costs just £2 per child with a Museum ticket.

With so much going on this Mother's Day, the Maritime Museum really is yummy for mummies!
