Love is in the air on the Fal River this month with some of Falmouth’s finest restaurants offering a Valentine’s Day treat to remember.
Culinary delights are on offer for couples looking to treat themselves to a spot of wining and dining on February 14.
St Michael's Hotel & Spa are holding Valentine Dinners on February 11, 14 and 18 with dishes on the menu like pink champagne sorbet champagne with soaked fruits and almond tuile it promises to be a night to remember.

They're celebrating their first Valentine's Day and music could very well be the food of love at Falmouth's Princess Pavilion. The new Garden Room Bistro at the Princess Pavilion is offering a special candlelit dinner, a special menu and a complimentary glass of bubbly for £25 per person.
The Greenbank Hotel are offering a romantic celebratory dinner with three courses and coffee for £24.95 per person. Dishes include a delightful sounding pot roast sirloin of beef with fondant potato, bone marrow, shallots and red wine jus. See all the details and the full menu here.

The Falmouth Hotel are celebrating Valentine’s Day on February 14 and Saturday, February 11. Their three course menu is £35 on the Saturday and £30 on the Tuesday. It includes a gift of homemade sweets and music from pianist Brian Payne. Reservations are essential and you can discover more here.
Moving further a field and there’s a hidden gem making an appearance at the Caerhays Castle Estate. There will be a Valentine Sunday lunch at The Vean, on Sunday, February 12, with Simon Stallard from the Hidden Hut - as seen on ITV’s Cornwall with Caroline Quentin.
This small, intimate event will only have 18 tickets available and it’s advised book early to avoid disappointment.
The price is £39 per person and includes a glass of fizz on arrival, slow-smoked salmon, Caerhays roast beef and a chocolate fondant.
