Stay at these spectacular National Trust cottages and enjoy an experience on the river like no other.

From country houses to cottages on the beach, there are unique experiences in amazing places on the Fal and Helford rivers.

Bosloe House: a grand yet relaxed country house, built for pleasure in a more leisurely age.

Bosloe is divided into three apartments (Bosveal, Chatham and Court) but can be hired together for large gatherings.

Each apartment is perfect for groups of friends or family holidays with plenty of space and stunning views out to the Helford River.

At Quay Cottage you can experience the thrill of living right on the water’s edge in this handsome cottage.

Quay Cottage takes its name from King Harry Quay, where there has been an important ferry crossing of the Fal River for centuries.

How typically Victorian for such a utilitarian building as a Water Tower to be designed with such style and embellishments that it resembles the legendary tower of Rapunzel!

This romantic folly on the Trelissick estate has one room on each floor and a spiral staircase leading to a stunning view at the top.

Families keep coming back year after year to the Old School House at Durgan on the Helford River.

Whether it’s messing about in boats on the river or watching birds from the comfort of the cottage – it’s a great base for family fun (and without the homework!)

All the surplus from National Trust holiday cottage lettings goes towards the conservation of the coast and countryside we care for on the Fal and Helford rivers.
