Orca Sea Safaris

Orca Sea Safaris, one of Cornwall's top boat trips, offer wildlife watching and coastal safaris in some of the UK’s most stunning waters.

Leaving from Falmouth on the purpose-built Seaquest of Falmouth, our trips take in the spectacular sights of the Carrick Roads.

Our aim is to introduce you to the outstanding beauty of our coastline, while looking for wildlife that may be in the area. A huge array of speicies visit the area including dolphins, seals, whales, seabirds and basking sharks.

While seeing all of these amazing animals can never be guaranteed, Cornwall’s coastal waters offer the perfect environment for pods of dolphins, groups of seals, basking sharks and whales.

The trips over the weekend had lovely weather however the sea state was still quite choppy due to SE wind which makes spotting from a distance quite tricky. However we had an amazing display from the Gannets dropping like stones from the sky. There were also seals in the water around Zone Point quite happy in the morning. Jes who set up Falmouth's Seal Photo Identification Project (FALPIP)came out with us in the afternoon the seals appeared to be very spooked we did hear that snorkellers had been seen in this area. Our ethos is to view any wildlife from a distance so as not to cause any disturbance. Everybody came back looking a little wind swept but had thoroughly enjoyed themselves!
