Albert Jones at Miss Peapod's

30 March 2013

Albert is an authentic British singer-songwriter. With his easy charm, road-worn voice and modern folk sound, the future is looking very bright indeed for this humble but most impressive British musical talent.

Albert has been duly touring the South West circuit for years, playing to sell-out crowds at venues like the Eden Project in support of international stars such as Jack Johnson and Paolo Nutini.

The excited buzz around his shows in the Alps earned him support gigs for KT Tunstall, Newton Faulkner and Squeeze at both the Altitude and Little World festivals.

As one third of AlBenAza, Albert enjoyed massive success amongst the South West student population and played festivals, bars and cafés all over the UK and Europe. When the roots/rock trio’s musical paths lead them in different directions, he moved on to become lead guitarist for exceptional Cornish singer-songwriter Ruarri Joseph and started to build up his solo career.
2013 has even more in store for Albert. His second EP “Needs Must”, launched last August, further establishes his unique sound with simple but blindingly effective acoustic compositions. Honest and heartfelt, “Needs Must” serves as a reminder to get on with things no matter what.

With an ever-growing fan base, his signature less-is-more arrangements and an unquenchable thirst for writing and touring, Albert looks set to blow the music scene apart this year!
