Castle to Castle Swim is a 1 mile Open Water Swim held in aid of the RNLI between Pendennis Point and St Mawes Castle.
The Castle to Castle Swim is an annual event run by the RNLI in aid of their South West Lifeguard Appeal and is part of the Fal River Festival. It takes place on Sunday 6 June starting at 12.30pm to coincide with slack water.
This unique event involves a 1 mile Open Water Swim from Pendennis Point (Falmouth) across to St Mawes Castle.
All entrants must be capable of swimming at least one mile in open water and guarantee to raise a minimum of £50 sponsorship for the RNLI (all competitors must wear a wet suit)
This year in addition to the swim the RNLI will be organising the St Mawes 10km (6.2 mile) cross country run around the Roseland Peninsula following the spectacular coastal path - those taking part in the swim have the option to either do the swim and run back to back or join the mass start later in the afternoon.
Entry forms can be obtained from Dave Nicoll (RNLI Area Fundraising Manager) at firstname.lastname@example.org or by telephoning 01326 210008.
