Wednesday, Feb 22 10-5pm :: ‘Places of Mourning in the Western World’ is an art exhibition by Phil Whiting which concentrates on Phil’s major concerns with conflict and human rights.
Free (until 16th March).
This coincides with an exhibition of his work ‘Landscape and Memory’ held at the Belgrave Gallery in St Ives. (25 Feb – 29 March).
Wednesday, Feb 22 5.30pm :: Ash Wednesday Solemn Eucharist and Imposition of Ashes.
The Cathedral Choir performs Allegri’s Miserere with its famous treble solo soaring up to a top C five times.
Sunday, Feb, 26 4pm :: Evensong and opening of ‘Places of Mourning in the Western World’, Phil Whiting’s exhibition with the Cathedral Choir singing Cantos Segrados by James Macmillan.
Sunday, Feb, 26 2pm :: Cornish Welsh Society Service in St Mary's Aisle. All Welcome.
Friday, March 2, 7pm :: Cathedral Choir Spring Concert with The City of Truro Male Choir.
Enjoy a programme that features music by James MacMillan, Julian Philips, Philip Stopford, Puccini and Caccini.
