Artists of the Fal River is a two hour river cruise with Falmouth Art Gallery Director Louise Connell on Tuesday, May 28.
Take a 2 hour cruise on the Fal River aboard one of our classic ferries and listen to Falmouth Art Gallery Director Louise Connell explain why the Fal has been an inspiration for generations of artists.
The cruise is on Tuesday, May 28 departing at 4pm from the Prince of Wales Pier with a meeting time at 3.30pm. Tickets cost £15 and are available at the Fal River Visitor Information Centre which is located on the pier or you can buy your tickets online by clicking on the button below.
Discover why the likes of Turner, Charles Napier Hemy, Scott Tuke cruised the Carrick Roads, why Christopher Wood and Ben Nicholson turned up in Feock, and how a whole collective of Surrealists including Man Ray, Lee Miller and Roland Penrose descended on Lambe Creek one summer and took crazy photographs.
They all found the Fal fascinating and Louise Connell has many of the paintings, photographs and artworks they produced in her wonderful Gallery.
Tickets cost £15 pound and include a 2 hour cruise on the river plus refreshments with a talk on art by Louise Connell.
Anyone attending is asked to meet on the Prince of Wales Pier or at Falmouth Art Gallery at 3.30pm for a 4pm departure.
