The Fal River Festival is delighted to announce next year’s media partner, longstanding supporter of the Festival - the West Briton.
Celebrating life on and around the River Fal, the 2011 festival will take place from May 27 - June 5. Each year it attracts more than 100,000 people to over 150 events, making it one of the largest festivals of its type in Cornwall.
Richard Best, Editor of the West Briton said: "Just as the river has played an essential part in Cornwall's history, so well-organised events like the Fal River Festival are becoming increasingly important to the county's future - as well as being great fun for residents and visitors alike.
"These days we are all pretty discerning in how we like to spend our leisure time and holidays, and the festival has shown a proven commitment to quality events that also provide value for money. Those of us who live in Cornwall get to enjoy what's on offer, it acts as a useful and attractive focal point for visitors, and hopefully local businesses do well out of it too.
"It's a win-win situation based around messing about on the river. What's not to like
