New corporate friends for Fal River Festival

2 February — 2 August 2011

A popular annual festival has seen excellent local support with ten new Friends of Fal River Festival sponsoring the event.

‘Friends of Fal River Festival’ is a brand new opportunity for smaller organisations to get involved in the event and receive excellent benefits for just £75.  The new Friends are: Cornish Gems, Hall for Cornwall, Hodgsons, Powerfal, R Pearce & Co., RTP Surveyors, Robin Curnow, Rustler Yachts Limited, Sheoak Acoustics and Vision Independent Financial Planning.

Celebrating life on and around the River Fal, the 2011 festival will take place from May 27 – June 5.  Each year it attracts more than 100,000 people to over 150 events, making it one of the largest festivals of its type in Cornwall.

Helen Mulhern, Director of Eventy – Marketing & PR who are managing the Festival’s sponsors and corporate supporters, welcomes the two new supporters.

“We are very grateful to our new Friends for supporting the Festival.  Local corporate support is vital and it is a great opportunity to get in front of tens of thousands of visitors.”

Helen goes on to explain the benefits available to Friends:

“There are many marketing and PR benefits for the Friends of Fal River Festival.  Their logo will be featured in the 40,000 Festival programmes, on the Festival’s official website and their name detailed in a double page spread in the West Briton.  They will also benefit from social media such as the Festival’s Facebook page and Twitter account.

“Our Friends can enjoy a range of events throughout the week with free tickets for the ferry hosting the Beer Fleet Launch and Opening Ceremony and four free tickets for the St Mawes Ferry & Jazz on the Quay, plus discounted tickets to various other events.  At £75 this is a great investment for local businesses to benefit in a range of ways, an opportunity to raise their profile and to support this favourite local event.”
