After last year's success charity BF Adventure will be running another charity abseil from the top of the Maritime Museum in Falmouth. Challenge yourself to abseil 95 feet and raise funds to support the charity's work with disadvantaged children and young people.

About BF Adventure
Since 1989 BF Adventure has been using the medium of outdoor activities to work with clients towards individually set goals to improve their life skills, gain confidence and achieve nationally recognised accreditations.

In addition the centre also works with people with disabilities, long term unemployed adults, families and many other individuals and groups with additional support needs as well as offering holiday activities for children, school residentials, corporate team building days and private parties.

Whilst our outside facilities are amazing, our only indoor space for activities is a second hand marquee and two old port-a-cabins donated by RNAS Culdrose. On bad weather days and during the long winter this can be very challenging for the staff.

In January 2011 we finally received planning permission for 6 new buildings including an indoor activity barn, a new accommodation block, indoor storage space and a new kitchen.

The challenge will now be to raise the £1, 2 million required to realise all buildings and whilst we are applying for major grants we will also have to rely on the community to support us through fundraising events and donations.
