The Fal River Festival has, this year, extended its educational outreach to include the involvement of three Fal senior schools in visual arts projects, and twelve primary schools in a literary competition.
Falmouth School:
Falmouth School is working with sculptor Georgina Maxwell and film maker Annabel Aguire to create a riverside installation at the Greenbank Hotel and film footage of the Water Front Crew at work. The production of the film was funded by FEAST.
Truro School:
Truro School will work with their artist in residence & Keith Mc Intyre around a Darwin theme to create an installation in an empty commercial site in Truro City Centre.
Roseland College:
Roseland College will work with their photographer in residence Dawn Brown to create a waterside installation in St.Mawes, to celebrate their pride of place on the Fal River.
