An exciting week of events to celebrate the half term!

An exciting week of events throughout half-term at Falmouth Art Gallery. All workshops start at 2pm (unless stated otherwise) but please ‘drop in’ anytime between 2pm and 3pm.

Saturday 11th February
Tutti Frutti

Today we will be using oil pastels to draw some delicious fruit including
scrummy apples and tangy oranges like Phil Hogben and Kenneth Newton have in their vivid paintings!

Tuesday 14th February
Puppy love

Dogs, cats, ducks, horses and chickens! Fall in love with one of the animals
featured in the paintings and then make your own version out of collage.

Wednesday 15th February
Touch Textures

It’s time to get messy!  Today we are going to using our fingers to create lots of  lovely marks and textures in our paintings – just like Andrew Tozer and Richard Cook.

Thursday 16th February
Painting party
Party on guys! Come and add your brushstrokes to our giant abstract painting and then celebrate your artistic achievements with some yummy party food!

Saturday 18th February
Funky Faces

John Raynes has used lots o  bright and crazy colours to create his painting Vivien Prideaux, so lets see how jazzy you can make your portraits of friends and family using fluorescent paint!
