Falmouth RNLI Fun Day supported by Sharps Brewery - Henri Lloyd Falmouth Week

For the whole of Wedsnesday from 9.30am until 11pm Market Street, Church Street, Arwenack Street will be closed to traffic. This will also include Church Street car park.


Custom House Quay (including Blades aerobatic display)

12-2pm: Static displays including model boats

2pm-2.30pm: Performance by the RAF band

2.30pm-3pm: Model Boat display in the basin

3.30pm-4pm: RNLI Lifeguards display

4pm-4.30pm: Performance by the RAF band

4.30pm-5pm: Model Boat display in the basin

5pm-5.30pm: Sail in by Working Boats (time approx)

5.30pm-6pm: RNLI Rescue display

Then Blades as below:

Blades display (sponsors by the Falmouth Harbour Commissioners 

Certainly one of the highlights of the week. The Blades aerobatic display will take place over the harbour at 6.15pm. Click here to visit the Blades site

6.30pm-7pm: Sea Gull outboard race

Limpet Games

7pm-7.30pm: Arrival of the Limpet Flame (Marine Band) and Official Opening Ceremony!!

7.30pm-9pm: A series of unique and highly entertaining sporting events including -

  • Worlds shortest Triathlon (swim basin, kids scoters, run in flippers)
  • Water borne hurdles (70m swim with floating barrels as hurdles)
  • Inflatable Hammer Throwing (in arena)

Culminating with a preview of the Winter Limpets with 'Eddie the Sea Gull'

Animal Bike Tour (thanks to Greenbank Hotel for supporting this event)

This will take place in Church Street car park (which is closed to vehicles on Weds 15th). Timings of the shows are TBC but it is likely they will start 11.30am with the last one finishing after the Blades display. Click here to see the video of 2011. The show mixes the incredible skill of World Champion trials rider Martyn Ashton with the spectacular aerial style of jump rider Blake Samson. A show not to miss!

Paint The Town 

Live art on the streets of Falmouth, with artists capturing scenes from around the town on Events Square, the Moor, Church Street, the Prince of Wales Pier and Old Brewery Courtyard. The artwork will then be exhibited at Falmouth Art Gallery in the weeks following the event, so don't miss out on seeing the work created in one day during the festival.

The Moor

Hog Roast all day.

10am-2pm: Family Day, cup cake making, baking and sharing.

2pm-4pm: Acoustic Music.

4pm-6pm: Family Disco, followed by Circus Skills.

9pm-11pm: Band Fleeting Glimpse (Bar open 2pm-midnight)

7pm-late Evening entertainment: FAZER (originally from N-Dubz) plus support The Mend Price £16
