Kernow King at Princess Pavilion, in Falmouth. Doors 7.30pm, starts 8pm. Tickets: £15.
Have you ever stopped and asked yourself, "What does it mean to be Cornish?" No? Me neither... [me, being me, the Kernow King] but then one day whilst rescuing a dog from Porth Beach back in the late 90's, I did ask myself that question and lo and behold, it means everything (to me, anyway).
Being Cornish and/or living (and loving!) in the Duchy influences our everyday lives and makes them better.
Whether we're writing rubbish on Facebook, phoning the missus, talking to a customer advisor in India or learning to drive, our Cornishness (which for long periods of time can mean little) can occasionally and delightfully rear her beautiful head and smack us on the bottom and remind us of why we're a great nation.
Kernow King's new show, "Splann!" takes in the little things in our Cornish lives, including writing rubbish on Facebook, phoning the missus, talking to a customer advisor in India or learning to drive and much more.
It doesn't matter where you're from or what you do, if you love the Kernow, the Kernow King loves you.
Date: 05 October 2013, doors 7.30pm, starts 8pm.
Tickets: £15 - Seated.
