Now in its fourth year, the Midas Awards 2009 exhibition in partnership with University College Falmouth showcases the four semi-finalists’ imaginative work from photography that records how the oddities we collect contribute to the portrait of ourselves, to Fine Art displays depicting the flight for life on the Kinder Transport from Nazi Germany in 1939; a huge printmaking linocut, which had to be wrapped around a garden roller before being transferred onto paper and a projected image of a pirouetting ballet dancer that breaks down one second of film into 24 frames, plus new work by last year’s winner, George Morgan.
