Set high on Pendennis Headland with magnificent views of the Fal Estuary and out to sea, Pendennis Castle is the perfect location for some nautical themed fun over the summer holidays.
To tie in with Falmouth Week, the largest sailing regatta in the South West, the castle will be setting sail on a seafaring adventure from Monday 9 to Friday 13 August.
Over the regatta week, children will have a whale of a time taking part in hands-on activities and fun and games including learning about nautical charts and making their name in signal flags. There'll also be a chance to have some dressing up fun and take part in a relay race and a tug of war!
‘Time Travellers Go… Seafaring’ will take place at Pendennis Castle from Monday 9 to Friday 13 August, 11am to 5pm. Admission prices are £6 for adults, £5.10 for concessions and £3 for children, or £15 for a family ticket (two adults and up to three children), and English Heritage members get in free. There is an additional £1 charge for every child (member and non-member).
