What we enjoy most is creating beautiful pieces of furniture from stunning native timbers. Over the years, I have visited many timber yards throughout
the country in search of beautiful wood. For me, it is like going to a good delicatessen. The wonderful smells, a variety of hidden treasures, each piece of wood unique with its own character and story. From these visits I have collected a number of remarkable boards. In particular I have some wonderful elm, and some wide olive ash from the Longleat Estate. These would make wonderful single board dining table tops, so I would like to invite you during this Fal River Festival to come and have a look and choose your own. We can then design a special piece of furniture for you.

We are lucky enough to work beside the river, with an ever changing view;
the tides rising and falling, working boats and pleasure craft coming and going, seabirds and fish we see every day, and occaisionally a seal. One might wonder how we actually make any furniture with such a distraction, but it is indeed a stimulating view, and the occasional glance over the river is very energising.
