The Lost Gardens at Night - a photographic workshop
On Thursday 27th and Friday 28th May internationally renowned photographer, Linda Rutenberg, will be offering an exclusive photographic workshop at The Lost Gardens of Heligan.

The night-time photography workshop begins on Thursday 27th from 6:30pm to 10:30pm, when you can experience the magical delights of a living night-time studio in The Lost Gardens. Join Linda and her husband, lighting expert Roger Leeon, on an artistic adventure through Heligan's historic Northern Gardens. Here, Linda will be sharing her special techniques for capturing images of plants, flowers and gardens by night and helping you to create your own night-time images.

During the follow up and critique, the following afternoon of Friday 28th from 3pm to 5pm, photographers will have the opportunity to share their work with Linda. Receive valuable feedback on how to improve your night-time imagery in the comfort of the Heligan Tearoom.

Linda's beautifully striking and atmospheric images of The Lost Gardens and other significant UK gardens can be admired in her latest publication, The English Garden at Night. Published by Thames and Hudson, this stunning hard back offers a glimpse into the secret world of gardens by night, capturing the intimacy of landscapes transformed by a night-time setting.

Linda will be signing copies of The English Garden at Night in the Heligan Shop, on Friday 28th May from 2pm to 3pm, before the afternoon critique. Images of Heligan, taken from this book, are also the subject of a unique set of eight postcards, which are available exclusively from the Heligan Shop.

To take part in this intimate photographic workshop it is essential you have a camera, tripod, torch and a working knowledge of your camera.

Tickets at £30 include both workshops and are available from the Heligan Visitor Reception, Tel: 01726 845100. Tickets are limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment. Entry to the Heligan Shop is free all year round and no tickets are required for the book signing.
