Autumn is a beautiful time of year around the Fal River. It’s perfect for long walks along the coast, across beaches or through woodlands. There’s a host of other events going on too including lots of spookiness for Halloween!

This year, instead of restricting your autumn walking to a two week period, we have decided to throw it open and encourage everyone to get their walking boots on whatever the time of year.

The walks will still encompass the very best of what the Fal River has to offer, encountering historical points of interest, meandering along coast paths, passing through areas of outstanding natural beauty and world heritage sites.

  • Featuring self-guided walks through some of the most stunning scenery Cornwall has to offer
  • A range of graded walks for all the family (and the dog!) to suit all abilities
  • Taking in areas from Falmouth to Truro, the Roseland to the Helford Passage
  • Unique flora and fauna, birds and wildlife, and picture perfect views

There are more things to do around the river at this time of year so keep coming back as we update our What's On section.
