4 February — 1 May 2009

An employee from a local wildlife sea safari business will be taking part in the WDCS POD Plod, a Coast to Coast Eco Challenge across the Highlands of Scotland.

Louise from Orca Sea Safaris in Falmouth will travel to Inverness in May to start a 3 day Highlands trek from Bonar Bridge on the West Coast of Scotland to Ullapool on the East Coast, a trek of around 55Km across remote areas of the Highlands, setting up camp each night and preparing food.

Funds raised from sponsorship will go to the Whale and Dolphin Conservation society 'protect our dolphins campaign'

Louise is passionate about wildlife and says "Living in Cornwall and managing a Wildlife watching marine safari business means that I have had some fantastic encounters with wildlife including the amazing dolphins that make appearances around our coastline. I have a huge passion for these wonderful marine creatures and want to do all I can to help protect them and their beautiful environment".
