Falmouth has very little (and expensive) long stay, town centre parking and for this reason the Park & Float / Ride was established.
Visitors to the town can now help reduce congestion and pollution by using the 500 space car park on the outskirts of town at Ponsharden.

What better way to arrive in a historic port than riding on the back of your very own classic wooden ferry?
After parking at Ponsharden take a leisurely trip down the Penryn River to Falmouth’s Custom House Quay. Ferries depart from the car park every 20 minutes.

Buses depart from the car park every 20 minutes and go direct to Falmouth Prince of Wales Pier.
From the pier to the Maritime Museum its a short 10-15 minute walk through town and only 20 minutes to Gyllyngvase Beach, Falmouth’s Blue Flag status beach.
