Taking part in one the Fal River Autumn Walking Festival's guided walks is the perfect way to enjoy the outdoors while immersing yourself in the region's rich history.

There are a range of guided walks on offer throughout the Fal River Autumn Walking Festival which runs from Friday, October 21 to Sunday, November 6. Expert guides, including walkitcornwall's Paul Simmons, will lead the walks and bring with them a wealth of knowledge.

Their rich stories will bring legends to life as myths become real and history seeps into the present.

Festival director, Toby Budd, believes guided walks are a great day for all the family.

‘Our guided walks have been designed to get people out and about, enjoying the area and learning about this wonderful part of the world while they're doing it,' he said.

‘Our guides are fantastic characters and their knowledge of the area is second to none. There are also our self-guided walks for people with a keen sense of adventure and who like to get off the beaten track.'

From the clifftops of the Roseland to the tranquil banks of the Helford, the Fal River Autumn Walking Festival has guided and self-guided walks that will take in some of the most stunning sights Cornwall has to offer.
