KHF evacuation exercise planned

Slight disruption to service expected on Thursday, May 24 as essential evacuation exercise takes place.

An essential evacuation exercise is taking place on the King Harry Ferry at 7pm on Thursday, May 24.

The exercise is desinged to ensure all the crew and staff are fully prepared in the event of an emergency.

The evacuation exercise will begin at 7pm and is likely to last for an hour and a half. During this time there is likely to be some disruptions to the service but all cars will be taken by the ferry across the Fal River.

During the exercise there will be drills based around set scenarios including man over board, drive failure on the ferry and evacuation of passengers.
