Local School help the Maritime Museum

1 December 2009 — 1 June 2010

Pupils from Cusgarne School were presented with a copy of a book they helped to create, when staff from the National Maritime Museum Cornwall dropped in for a special visit.

The book, entitled What May Be There, tells the story of two children visiting the Maritime Museum in their dreams and their search for Oceana, the magical sea sprite. The book is designed to be read aloud in class prior to a Museum visit, to fire up the children's imaginations and overcome any nerves they may be feeling.
