Skippers' Blog | St Mawes

From 27 June 2013

Who pulled the plug on the water? All the latest from Simon our Place Ferry skipper!

Livingstone has to rest this week as the low tides force a tide stop across at Place.

A full moon provides the lowest and highest tides known as Springs.

Weather now looking good and set fair for the coming week. Prior to that despite some rain showers the ferries continue to be busy and pack in the tourists form as far afield as Canada.

I managed to capture two large ferries in St Mawes but failed to catch the third. St Mawes is a busy port of call in the Summer and it is very good to see  so much activity and interest. It is of course a most beautiful location.
