St Mawes harbour was a busy location today as Day 2 of the Working Boat World championships was taking place with two races.

The working boats are very impressive and all display a different colour and patterned topsail.

This picture shows them preparing for the first race and then on moorings at lunchtime prior to the days second race.

Place ferry was again very busy and a full boat load with bikes approaches St Mawes through the working boat flotilla.

A lovely colourful sight and one which the customers very much appreciated.  Neap tides now so we can operate without tide stops. Eve of St Mawes, A classic sailing boat offering sailing courses lies against the harbour wall for some well earned rest and refurbishment.
