Enjoy an evening trip between St Mawes and Falmouth

A NEW EVENING ferry service between Falmouth and St Mawes has just been started by the St Mawes Ferry Company and will run from now until the end of August.

Ferries will leave Falmouth’s Customs House Quay for the picturesque fishing village of St Mawes on the Roseland Pensinular late into the evening every day of the week except Sunday and Monday.

Operations manager, Garrick Royle, said: “An evening trip across the water – particularly when the sun is setting – is absolutely beautiful. Both St Mawes and Falmouth boast some great places to eat and drink, and by offering this extended service, we hope we will be helping the local businesses and encouraging people to not drink and drive.”

The service operates as an extension to the company’s Customs House Quay service which departs Falmouth for St Mawes at half past every hour from 0930 – 2130 with later services available subject to demand. Ferries return from St Mawes on the hour. For more information, log onto www.stmawesferry.co.uk or call either 01872 861910 or 01326 313201.
