Trethem Mill wins National Award

From 6 June 2013

Ian, Jane & Jake are very proud to announce that Trethem Mill Touring Park has been awarded Silver in the category “Caravan Holiday Park/Holiday Village” at the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2013.

The silver award is one of the highest accolades that VisitEngland can bestow and means that we one of the country’s top two destinations for Park visitors.

The awards were presented by Lady Penelope Cobham at a glittering ceremony that was held at The Point, Lancashire County Cricket Club, Manchester.

We are delighted to have been recognised as one of the best within our industry throughout the whole of England. It’s great that we’ve been able to put Cornwall, and in particular the Roseland Peninsula, in the spotlight for potential and returning visitors. This latest award follows on from our success at the Cornwall and South West awards where we won two Golds and also the Winner of Winners award.

James Berresford, Chief Executive of VisitEngland said "The quality of the applications we received this year was extremely high and to win any award is a considerable achievement. Trethem Mill has achieved one of the highest accolades for excellence in tourism and I warmly congratulate them".
