VACANCY: Place Ferry Skipper

From 14 February 2012

Skipper needed from April to October for the ever-popular Place Ferry.

Place Ferry Skipper - 5 days a week including some weekends, April to October.

We're looking for someone to join our experienced team of boatmen and skipper the Place Ferry from April to October. The skipper will be required to work five days a week, including some weekends, from April to October.

Crossing St Mawes Harbour and operating seven days a week, the Place Ferry runs a regular service between St Mawes and Place Creek on the Roseland Peninsula.

Last year more than 20,000 passengers used the service.

Training will be given to gain a local boatman's qualification although boat handling experience is essential.

Salary is dependent on experience.

To apply, please send a CV and covering letter to Operations Manager, Garrick Royle on garrick@cornwallferries.co.uk.
