Head down to the beach and swim in the sea, it'll still be warm enough, or take a walk along the coastal path, both are yards from the garden gate.

Then back to ours for a quick dip in the indoor heated pool and a drink in your studio, suite or apartment or out on the lawn looking out to sea before dinner in the restaurant. Choose dishes from the House menu that reflect the changing seasons and the place we live, local ingredients sourced from field and sea, cooked simply.

A Classics menu for those firm British favourites like cod and chips is also available, and look out for the daily specials board too.

We've made short breaks at The Rosevine easy, stay as long as you wish and the rest is up to you.

And four legged friends can come too - The Slate Rooms can accommodate one dog each and have their own garden space.
