Sunday 23rd December
Check in and take the weight off. When you’re ready, join us in the bar for mulled wine and mince pies. Pull up a pew and stay a while. In the evening, sample wine and spirits from near and far with our drinks maestro all paired with a scrummy tasting menu.
Christmas Eve
After breakfast, head into Truro, Cornwall’s only city, to soak up the festive atmosphere or go for a gentle stroll along the river. In the evening, take a seat in our stylish restaurant and savour three courses of double AA Rosette food. Afterwards relax by the fire with a hot toddy or attend midnight mass at Truro Cathedral, returning back to the hotel to a warm mug of hot chocolate.
Christmas Day
Rise and shine – it’s Christmas Day!
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before opening presents. Take to the coast for a refreshing stroll, play games in a quiet corner or curl up with a book. Surrounded by the breathtaking architecture of the Great Hall, enjoy a sumptuous seven course candle lit lunch. Traditional festive favourites are accompanied by timeless classics for a filling and delicious meal. In the evening graze on a buffet with all the seasonal trimmings.
Boxing Day
Following a Cornish breakfast, prepare for a nostalgic afternoon at The Alverton Picture House, showing classic films with interval treats. Perfect for chilly winter afternoons. Dinner is five courses of exquisite
food served in the restaurant.
Thursday 27th December
Prepare for the day ahead with a hearty breakfast. Discover the Eden Project and try ice skating before exploring the Biomes, or head to the coast for a beach walk – the day is yours for Cornish adventures.
Thursday 28th December
Enjoy a laid-back breakfast before checking out with our fondest farewells and best wishes for 2019.
