Lose yourself in the three valleys of Glendurgan Garden...

You'll find a garden full of fun, natural beauty and amazing plants. It really is a-maze-ing!

Almost two hundred years ago this garden inspired its creators, Quakers Alfred and Sarah Fox, to describe it as a 'small peace of heaven on earth' and both the peace and the heavenly side of the garden are enjoyed by visitors of all ages today.

Discover giant rhubarb plants living in the jungle-like lower valley and spiky arid plants basking in the sunny upper slopes.

Explore the cherry laurel maze which is over 180 years old and get airborne on the 'Giant's Stride' rope swing. Wander through the garden down to the beautiful hamlet of Durgan on the Helford River - a place to watch birds and boats, skim stones and build sandcastles.

Find the maze viewing platform, gigantic 'tulip-trees' and ponds teeming with wildlife. You can even enjoy a light lunch or afternoon tea at Glendurgan Tea House which specialises in organic, local produce.

Glendurgan is a great base for walking the coastal paths and inland wooded valleys of the fascinating and beautiful North Helford countryside.
