Picture Perfect at Pendennis Castle.

For a sense of history, magic and grandeur, the magnificent Pendennis Castle is the ideal choice!

This romantic Tudor castle, built circa 1540 by Henry VIII enjoys the most prominent position on the headland in Falmouth. Exclusively yours for the big day, admire the sea views from the spacious lawns, the romantic keep and the original canons, which can be fired on your wedding day!

Dine in the former Edwardian barracks or perhaps hire a marquee where you can celebrate with the spectacular backdrop of the castle, which is floodlit at night.

Your day can be designed exactly how you choose alongside the expert support of the wedding planning team who have been organising weddings at Pendennis for close to 20 years.  There is nothing better than dancing the night away in the grounds of your own private castle, you can even stay over for your wedding night in one of their on-site castle cottages.

Pendennis Castle is ideal for a summer shindig, enjoying Pimms on the lawn and looking out at the magnificent seascapes or equally wonderful for a romantic winter wedding, with the candles lit, dramatic backdrop and warming ginger wine next to the roaring open fire.

The divine acoustics are perfect for live music such as a harpist or string quartet and with the soft fairy lights woven around the granite pillars, it’s incredibly atmospheric.

Cross the stone bridge, beneath the arched doorway and onto the wooden floor as you make your grand entrance. Follow the red carpet to the candlelit alter in the intimate and ultra-romantic circular Castle Keep.  Following the ceremony, climb the spiral stone staircase to the castle roof for photographs and champagne soaking in the panoramic views of Falmouth. And don’t forget to walk beneath the pretty stone arch for that all-important confetti moment!

Pendennis Castle offers somewhere truly unique, romantic and intimate, adding a sublime sense of history to a day that you will never forget.
