Art exhibition in the heart of Cornwall


Summer exhibition TORCH set to open at the Wheal Martyn Clay Museum.

Cornwall Ceramics and Glass Group are holding a Summer Exhibition, entitled TORCH, at Wheal Martyn Clay Museum, the centre of Cornwall’s clay industry.

Eighteen artists from this craft group will present work demonstrating their variety of skills and inspirations.

With members throughout the county, Cornwall Ceramics and Glass Group occupies an important place in Cornish craft scene organising throughout the year, exhibitions, master classes and workshops with renowned craftsmen for potters and ceramic and glass artists who work in a variety of traditions inspired by Cornwall’s coast, landscape and heritage.

TORCH will be open daily from June 24 to July 8, 10 am to 4 pm at the Foyer Gallery, Wheal Martyn Clay Museum, Carthew, St Austell.
