Its sixth month anniversary at Oyster Festival

The Falmouth Sunday Artists Market celebrated its sixth month anniversary with a fantastic marquee at the side of the Maritime Museum at the Oyster Festival last weekend.

The market has gone from strength to strength and has decided to carry on on the main square right through the Winter in its great Marquee which is sponsered by Stay Cafe and Cornish Holiday Cottages as well as Falmouth Festivals.

Organiser Lea Parry said that the quality of the work displayed is fantastic and the public love to visit and buy from the rich array of talent.

There is now also a general market every Saturday and from this coming Friday this will be there on a Friday as well.

Stalls with clothes, jewellery both contemporary and antique bric a brac, books, cards, health products, cakes , smoked mackeral, homemade soups, childrens clothes fancy dress chutneys and jams crafts and wonderful gifts.

Lea said "The markets are growing steadily and are very popular. We are always pleased to have new people coming to take part. We are looking especially for food people such as fruit and veg, cheese, eggs, bread, deli and fresh fish on a regular basis."
