Caravanserai return to Falmouth's Courtyard Deli

The Courtyard Deli will play host to A Caravanserai Yuletide Dinner 2012 in December with a host of entertainment and a delicious seasonal menu of Arabic inspiration.

On Wednesday 5th & Thursday 6th of December The Courtyard Deli will play host to A Caravanserai Yuletide Dinner 2012.

Following the successful events last winter, Caravanserai and Courtyard Deli have decided to team up again to host another event that can be enjoyed by families, friends and colleagues alike.

Host Mac Dunlop has invited a host of great acts to perform including Bouzouki & Mandolin Balladeer, Dan O’Shea; Bard of Bodmin, Rob Barratt; Forward Prize & T.S Elliot Poetry Prize nominee, Penelope Shuttle and Accordian Specialist in Klezmer music, Helen Spear.

Alongside the starts of the show will be a fabulous menu from Courtyard Deil inspired by the tastes of Jerusalem.

Fresh deli-made breads, dips and soup will be followed by roast chicken with fragrant clementine & fennel, finishing with Arabic Petit Fours. As always gluten free, vegetarian, vegan and dairy free diets can be catered for on request.

The evening’s host, Mac Dunlop, is best known for his ‘Unspoken Words’ radio shows, which have been broadcast by Falmouth’s Source FM and London’s Resonance FM as well as Caravanserai.

Caravanserai is an ongoing project run by the artist and writing team, Annie Lovejoy and Mac Dunlop, and held at Treloan on the Roseland Peninsula.

Their popular summer Fireside Sessions offer a chance to showcase some of the region’s best new talent, in a convivial atmosphere of sharing food, music, poetry and stories.
