Drama in the garden as Cornwall’s bamboo garden stages comedy

31 August 2009

Carwinion stages dramatic comedy amid world-renowned bamboo garden.

Cornwall’s Miracle Theatre celebrates its 30th anniversary with a new adaptation of Tartuffe, Molière’s sharpest comedy.

This masterclass in hypocrisy, as fresh and provoking as when it was banned in 1664, is perfectly suited to Miracle’s high energy outdoor performance style.
Carwinion provides a fantastic backdrop. Do bring something to sit on, a picnic and a rug to wrap up in. The garden will be supplying hot drinks, cakes and biscuits.

The doors will open at 6pm, Monday 31st August. Show starts 7.30pm. Car parking for the ederly and disabled will be in the driveway of the house, additional parking will be in the cricket field opposite the main entrance.

Tickets (adult £10, OAPs and students £8, child £5, and a family ticket is £25) available from Carwinion 01326 250258.
