Enjoy a seafood Adventure...

14 August 2009

...at the Maritime Museum

This summer the Maritime Museum will be tempting guests to indulge in some true Cornish flavours with a traditional ferry cruise along the Carrick Roads followed by a scrumptious seafood buffet.

On 14 August, the Maritime Museum will be teaming up with Cornwall Ferries Limited to offer a leisurely evening cruise aboard a classic wooden ferry. This will be followed by a delicious freshly-caught seafood buffet, accompanied by the best views in Falmouth, back in the Museum’s Waterside Restaurant.

The menus for each evening are yet to be finalised as Nicki Foster, head chef at the Museum, explains: “What makes it to the table completely depends on what the fishermen catch that day. But, I can promise diners a fine selection to choose from and certainly a few favourites.”

The classic ferry cruise and buffet costs £21.95 and departs from Custom House Quay at 6pm. However, if you’re unable to catch the boat trip, but would still like to try the dish of the day, the Museum offers a buffet only option which is available for £14.95 and will be served at 7.30pm in the Waterside Restaurant. To book in advance please call 01326 214546.
