Come and be part of the ‘Living gallery’ in Flushing Festival of Arts 'The Colours of Flushing'
Across the water from Falmouth, connected by the ferry, is the real working village of Flushing. For one week each year the village opens its doors to local artists and visitors for a festival of art.
The week will open with Wild Weaving on the Bowling Green and a BBQ Week events include clay sculpture and printing workshops, Flower Festival, postcard art, and photographic competition, film night and evening musical entertainment, rounding off with an evening of improvise comedy.
Throughout the week art will be displayed throughout the Village, in the Village Club, pubs, restaurants, Church, Chapel and residents windows.

Saturday 23rd May
3pm: Opening Community Event - Wild Weaving on the
Bowling Green with BBQ and dancing ( dancing TBC)
10.30am-4.30pm: Flower Festival opens with refreshments. St Peters Church
2pm: Galleries open

Sunday 24th May
10am - 7pm: Galleries open
10.30-4.30pm: Flower Festival with refreshments and special service
Evening: Live music at the Seven Stars Pub

8pm: Grande Finale - Improvised Comedy- bring your own picnic to the Village Club and watch the fun! £5 pp
Flushing Arts Week
Throughout the week discover the ‘Colours of Flushing' by completing the Village Trail or enter your photos into the photographic competition, prizes donated by Image Delivery or even add you own art work on a postcard to the exhibition Tickets for all the events are available from the Village shop and pubs.
